The Frederick by Big Projects.

Collectif x Selfsame partnered with Korace to create a series of brand films for Frederick, a coastal residential development designed for discerning homeowners seeking more than a place to live.

Set at Nobby Beach, Frederick is defined by understated luxury. A balance of considered design, comfort, and a strong connection to its coastal environment. The films position the development not as a product, but as a way of living, speaking directly to an audience drawn to restraint, longevity, and quiet confidence.

Our approach focused on creating an emotive, cinematic narrative that reflects Frederick’s duality, past and present, texture and refinement. Through a controlled blend of black-and-white and colour imagery, dreamlike pacing, and tactile visual detail, the films evoke a timeless atmosphere rooted in place and history.

By layering intimate human moments with expansive coastal imagery, the work brings Frederick’s vision to life in a way that feels personal, immersive, and aspirational - without relying on traditional property or lifestyle advertising conventions.

The Frederick films were recognised at the BADC Awards, winning Silver for Cinematography and Bronze for Direction in the Branded Content category.
